Frames USA Want You to be Safe

South Florida is preparing for Hurricane Matthew to hit the East coast at the end of this week. This is the latest as of Wednesday October 5, 2016.

  • The Miami-Dade Schools will be closed Thursday October 6th and Friday October 7th 2016.
  • Authorities have advised the following:
    • Have sufficient drinking water and non-perishable food  for at least 5 days.
    • Make sure that your prescriptions will last for at least 5 days.
    • Have cash because ATM may be out of order.
    • Make sure to fill you gas tank in your car in case evacuation is needed.
    • Make sure your pets are:
      • Indoors
      • Have food and water for 5 days.
      • If they need medications have enough to last 5 days.
      • Have a copy of their vaccinations and other health paperwork in a plastic bag.
    • Make sure to have all important documents at hand and in a plastic bag so they do not get wet.
      • Driver’s License
      • Passports
      • Bank documents
      • Health documents
      • Updated Inventory List of all of your valuables
      • Digital drive with a photo of all your valuables on your inventory list.
      • Battery power radio for updates
      • Extra batteries
    • Remove any debris or items from outdoor spaces that can become dangerous projectiles due to the high winds.
